The Power Turbine Generator(PTG)is proposed under the social environment of energy-saving and emission-reduction,which is widely used during the new style ships.Because its structure is complex,the simulation of the PTG is so difficult.Based on document literature such as instruction books of the real ship,the PTG is deeply studied,which is different of the old method of simplified simulation such as logic modeling in the old documents,and the components of the system is precisely modeled in math using theory modeling,the whole model which is proved correct is programmed and applied to DMS2016 Marine Engineering Simulator.Based on consulting the documents in ship,the structure of the PTG is introduced,and the basic theory of which is stated in detail.The theory of power turbine,electrical-pneumatic servo valve as the core of speed governor,generator,exciter and so on are highlighted.On the basis of the theory,the mathematic model for power turbine,electrical-pneumatic servo valve as the core of speed governor,generator,exciter and so on is completed.Under the environment of MATLAB/Simulink the whole PTG is simulated and the model of power turbine generator can conclude characteristics curves,the results of tests conform to Rules for Classification of Sea-going Steel Ships(version 2015),which can validate the validity of the modeling of this paper.Regard the framework of DMS2016 as main framework,regard self-developed simulated software SUPERSIMS as the carrier,and according to work parameters from the PTG of certain real ship,the correct mathematical model is programmed under the environment of VC++ software,and the simulated interface about controlling system based on C programming language is developed.The model communicates with interface each other in SUPERSIMS to achieve the aim of PTG simulation.The simulation system of the PTG better conform to the task request of training and examination as the subsystem of Marine Engineering Simulator DMS2016.
