With the global energy crisis and climate change increasingly serious,Energy saving and emissions reduction are urgent.The energy consumption of shipping industry is huge,and the energy saving regulations of ship are becoming more and more stringent.Ship energy saving has became a hot topic in shipbuilding and shipping industry.The exhaust gas boiler steam margin is large on ocean-going vessels,when they are sailing in the summer or tropical water,while the steam can't be effectively used,at the same time the ships' cooling capacity surges in demand,and refrigeration consumption of electricity increases significantly.In order to generate the urgent needed cooling capacity of the ship by recycling the surplus steam of the exhaust gas boiler and make a contribution to ship energy saving,a steam ejector refrigeration chiller prototype with the parameters of the ship system were designed and produced in this paper.The main researches are showing below:Firstly,when the working steam pressure was 404370Pa,the evaporation temperature was 10 ?,the condensation temperature was 25 ?,the working steam power was 11.5kW,the constant pressure model and numerical simulation method were used to complete the design of the steam ejector structural parameters and work performance prediction.According to the above structural parameters,the steam ejector detailed design was completed.Secondly,according to the characteristics of the ship condition,a design scheme of steam ejector refrigeration chiller prototype system with flash drum as evaporator was proposed.Compared with the traditional prototype system with wall heat exchanger as the evaporator,not only the evaporator heat transfer efficiency is higher,but also the prototype system is simpler and work stability is better.The prototype parts were designed and selected,and then the prototype system was built.After the test and run,the prototype common failures and its elimination methods were summed up for the reliability improvement of the prototype to provide technical support.Finally,through the performance test of the steam ejector refrigeration chiller prototype system,it is found that the prototype is stable and reliable under the design condition.The maximum COP is 0.32.At the working steam pressure is 401325Pa,and the chilled water temperature is 14.4 ?,the maximum COP of the prototype is 0.4.When the prototype is intended to be used for providing chilled water for the air conditioner in the workshop of the ship,it is found that the working parameters of the prototype match well with the parameters of the actual ship system.And under the design conditions,it can provide chilled water for the air cooler of air-conditioning and its applicability is better in real ship conditions.
