Aircraft fire accidents as a great harm to the accident,has been researched as an important issue by scholars in recent years.To study the aircraft fire accidents,we must first have a macro understanding of this thing,therefore,put forward a specific characteristics of the aircraft fire accidents' classification model is imminent.In this paper,from the existing domestic and foreign aviation accident classification and theoretical model,through the comparison to find out the differences and insufficient aspects,combined with the characteristics of aircraft fire accidents and researchers' focus,put forward a more conducive to reveal the law of aircraft fire accidents classification model,which called AFA2016 classification model.First of all,identify defects in some of the key information in the existing incident investigation reports by this model.It is hoped that the record of the contents will be refined in future records of aircraft fires.Then the model was used to analyze the aircraft fire accidents from 1990 to 2015.The results show that the frequency of Fire/Smoke(non-impact)accidents and the Fire/Smoke(post-impact)accidents is equal,aircraft fires are mostly liquid fires,the most vulnerable parts of the fire is the engine and fuel tank,the Fire/Smoke(post-impact)accidents make the most serious consequences,and most of them are caused by human factors.This paper also uses gray relational theory to analyze the potential link between the several factors that cause the aircraft fire accidents and the number of casualties.The results show that human error share the most likely causes of deaths;the worst weather conditions are most likely to cause injuries.Finally,the model is used to build the initial database of the aircraft fire accidents' source,and this paper designs the aircraft fire accident database system which the author wants.
