This paper based on the key component of small dose and high speed packaging machine, researches and designs a kind of transverse sealing system based on the CAM,connecting rod, swing arm and stent. This paper designs various parts of the system and establishes the corresponding three dimensional model, then carries on the motion simulation of the model and optimizes the partial institutions combined with the simulation results. The transverse sealing system has good sealing effect from the results.This paper introduces the technology gap of the packaging machine between domestic and international, analyzes and points out the key influencing factors of packaging speed.Because the studying packaging machine using pneumatic feeding, the key influence component of this packaging machine's speed is the transverse sealing parts.This paper introduces the working principle and technological process of vertical packaging machine, introduce the characteristics of several transverse sealing mechanisms of packaging machine. Through analysis and compare these transverse sealing mechanism,paper determines the small dose of high speed packaging machine needs to design another kind of transverse sealing mechanism.This paper describes the design process of vertical packaging transverse sealing system in detail. The transverse sealing system combines the CAM and connecting rod,through control the velocity of two similar mechanism's motion change to achieve the complete periodic motion. This paper firstly divides the movement cycle into multiple stages, secondly solves the movement rule of each paragraph, thirdly solves the movement rule of connecting rod, last designs the pitch curve and working curve of the CAM, so the motions of all the parts of transverse sealing system complete established.This paper then builds the three dimensional model of this transverse sealing system,uses the simulation software ADAMS to analyze this system in kinematics field, after get the trajectory curve in running state,paper judges the design project based on the analysis result. After optimizing partial structure of the model, the better structure is confirmed.Then, paper carries on dynamic analysis and analyzes the force situation of part component,the rationality of this design is verified.The last part of this paper includes the main part of the control program in transverse sealing period, this can provide better design idea for complete program writing.This paper has some reference and learning values in transverse sealing research and control system design, it plays a role in packaging machinery research and development.
