In electronic systems, there are a large number of electronic connectors play the role of maintenance. The simulation test of the sliding characteristics of the electric connector can be used as the main basis to ensure the life to meet the requirements in design. Sliding characteristics can be evaluated by two parameters of contact resistance and sliding friction coefficient. At present,measurement of friction coefficient is not a function of sliding electric contact tester used in experiment, and friction testers are not suitable for simulating the using condition of electronic connectors. This paper based on the simulation sliding system of electronic contact which is existing in our laboratory, use Mechanical and electrical integration technology, design an integrated test device of that can realize the synchronous coupling measurements of friction coefficient and contact resistance of electronic connector under the condition of sliding contact, to solve the problem that existing friction coefficient test device and contact resistance test device work separately and causes the unsynchronized measurement data. It provides situation to do the in-depth analysis on the result of simulation sliding test.We start with the tribological law, study and analyze the impact of solid's friction factors and characteristics upon friction coefficient, proposes two theoretically feasible solutions, one of them will be selected after comparing the feasibility, use LSB200 strain type power sensor to measure the friction in sliding. Then, baed on the selected solution, design the structure and size of the connecting rod and bracket. At last, puts forward the design of the measurement and control part of the test device on both hardware and software, and constitute an integrated test system with mechanical part. In software field, we used labView which is developed by NI company as platfo.
