The Integrated Subsea Venturi Wet Gas Meter (ISVWGM) needs no separating system, which can help save space. It can be used to provide the production data of the well as well as measuring the flow. The ISVWGM will make the production management of the oil well become more convenient. The numerical simulation and experimental method were adopted to analyze the accuracy, sensitivity, system structure, reliability of the ISVWGM to establish foundation for the engineering application of the wet gas measurement technology.The flow field condition of the ISVWGM was simulated with FLUNET. The influence of the operation conditons and structure parameters on the accuracy and sensitivity of the meter were studied. The variation of the K and ?g over liquid fraction X were got, and the optimal structure parameters of the Venturi wet gas meter were obtained.This provided the reference for the development of the ISVWGM.On the basis of the obtained optimal structure parameters and according to the requirement of the project, the sealed Integrated Subsea Venturi Wet Gas Meter was developed, which consisted of the Venturi tube,pressure measurement system, measuring instruments, flow calcaulation and output equipment.The mechanical calculation was performed by ANSYSWORKBENCH to ensure the safety and reliability of operation.The temperature distribution of the developed meter was analyzed to guarantee the stability of the measuring instrument and calculation module.The three-dimensional flow model of the integrated subsea Venturi wet gas meter was established to analyze the velocity, pressure and phase distribution of the flow by FLUENT, also the pressure measurement accuracy of the manometry ring cavity was evaluated. The computational formulas involing K and ?g for the flow measurement was obtained,while the accuracy and sensitivity of these formulas were also estimated.This procedure can provide design ideas for the development of the independent intellectual property wet gas meter.The experimental Venturi wet gas meter with the same structure parameters was manufactured to validate the accuracy and sensitivity of these folw measuremen calcaulation formulas, and the experiments of dry gas and wet gas was conducted on the double loop wet gas system. The experimental manometry ring cavity was manufactured to validate the accuracy of the manometry ring cavity of the developed meter.The development and performance study of the ISVWGM will provide technical support for the exploitation of the petroleum resources in the deep sea.
