Logistics is occupying a more and more important position in a country's material handling and economic development.With the gradual development and maturity of logistics technology and its industry,logistics equipments are getting more diversified,its automatic level and systematic extent are improving greatly.Modern three-dimensional warehouse logistics,represented by automatic logistics system,is becoming the mainstream of warehousing industry.In order to meet informationization and intellectualization's requirements of contemporary production activities,the logistics technology are more apt to high-efficiency,agile and flexible logistics syste.Rail Guided Vehicle(RGV),which is characterized by flexibility,agility and economization,is the most important intelligent guided handling equipments in automatic logistics system.The application of RGV in warehousing system makes the whole logistics systems more simple and direct and greatly improve transferring flexibility and agility of different cargo space.Therefore,a substantial reduction of work capacity are expected to be lower and higher productivity can be expected.This paper will take a voluntary developed RGV as the research object.Through field tests in lab environment,the working performance and testing stability of this RGV will be investigated.Firstly,the research and development of this RGV comes to the priority.All key technology properties of the RGV should be comprehensively studied,including the selection of hardware equipments and design of the PLC control programs.In order to satisfy the working environment of modem warehousing logistics,stability,reliability and safety should be prior considerations of the selection of hardware equipments.On the basis of the above investigation,the RGV platform can be expected to set up.Secondly,the setup of RGV test platform will help to study RGV testing properties,environment and different testing methods.Among these properties,the disruptive effect will be one of the most important indexes in RGV testing.Different testing methods are given to detect this character,and the acceleration-based method are chosen to be the best one of them.On the basis of these analysis,the setup of testing platform can be ready.The software system development of RGV testing platform will another important part.This paper will introduce a virtual instrument,which is called the Labview software platform,to develop testing software system.The RGV software testing platform are composed of a variety of modules,including safe login module,data input module,signal processing module,image displaying,data statistics,testing result saving,testing statement forming and so on.Above all,the application of RGV testing platform comes the most important.This will not only do some testing work on real RGV and acquire some testing data,but also do some evaluation of the RGV.
