In recent years, China's investment in infrastructure continues to increase, the state in the distribution network is also constantly improved. As an important part of the power cable network system, mainly for the transmission and distribution of electric energy, commonly used in the city underground power grid, power station, power supply line leads to internal industrial and mining enterprises and the river water under the transmission line. The traditional cable detection method is generally used in the state of power failure detection method, but this method is difficult to meet the expected requirements both in terms of quality and efficiency. Therefore, it is urgent to introduce on-line detection technology to ensure the normal operation of distribution network and save the maintenance cost.The structure of the cable can be divided into a single cable and a multilayer cable, in which XLPE is the most widely used. Because the structure of multilayer cable is more complex than that of single layer cable, it is more appropriate to use the ray to detect the cable.To solve the above problems, this paper designs a X online detection system based on X-ray power cable, the main cable XLPE multilayer eccentricity and diameter as the research object,through the principle of ray detection method, design a stable and reliable detection scheme ,finally through the design of software and hardware to realize online detection the function of the cable.In the aspect of the principle of ray detection, studied the process of generation and X-ray spectrum, X-ray and material and detection methods under different ray attenuation law,according to the characteristics of the Compton effect will be produced in the selection of continuous spectrum X-ray scattering of narrow beam detection method, detection in program design, firstly analyzes the main performance factors index detection system and its effects,according to the detection scheme affected by various factors by point scanning detection method,and the use of MCU and peripheral circuit, combined with digital signal processing technology to the acquisition of the signal processing, finally obtains the parameters to measure. The experimental results show that the system has achieved the expected requirements in real-time, precision and economy.
