The Research On Modern Architecture In The Bund On North Bank Of Ningbo River

Ningbo because of the harbor to be a booming city,has a long history.Since ancient times,shipping in Ningbo is developed and its economic of commerce is a great prosperity.Because of the Nanjing Treaty signed in 1842 after the Opium War to open as a treaty port,Ningbo was formed as the north shore of settlement.And it even developed rapidly to the modern cities,the Bund began to flourish.But with the rise of Shanghai port,Ningbo Port is falling.Ningbo businessmen and foreigners have been transferred to Shanghai port.Thus Modern Architecture and Urban construction slowed its pace.In 1844-1937,It is period of the rapid development of the Modern Architecture and city of Ningbo.Based on the construction time and its importance,this article elaborates the modern architecture classification of the settlement.There are some aspects of the consulate,customs,police station,post office and other functional buildings,western religious buildings,shops and residences.And through field survey and mapping of existing modern architecture,literature textual criticism to analysis the architectural technology and aesthetic awareness of occident countries at that time.And also analysis the collision and integration from style to material technology and other aspects after came to China.At the end of the article,the paper elaborates the drawing information in the modern architecture of the Bund of the North Bank of the Ningbo river,and constructs the three-dimensional model,which enriches the basic data of modern Chinese architecture research.
