With the development of the economy, only the recourse on the land can't meet our requirements. So it is urgent and necessary for us to exploit and make use of marine recourse.The thesis is based on the usage of the vector hydrophone used in sub-bottom Profiler Probe technique. It also carries on a further research on receiving and processing of the vector hydrophone and has done with the debugging of hardware platform.Firstly, the paper has made a brief introduction of the development and actual state of sub-bottom profiler at domestic and abroad. It has analyzed the operating principles of the sub-bottom Profiler Probe technique and the advantage of the vector hydrophone used in the technique. The paper has expounded what should be done according to the application requirements.Secondly, it has come up with a specific and feasible design plan of hardware platform in accordance with application requirements. In the process of receiving extension of design,I've designed hardware circuit with multichannel receiver, which is mainly made in the part of receiver, containing controllable gain amplifier circuit, filter circuit and a voltage follower.Selecting the appropriate chip and circuit form and correspond with the receiving system parameters to ensure its low noise and consistency character. I make designs for the hardware circuit of the collection and storage extension, including the FPGA circuit module, DSP circuit module, SD circuit module,A/D analog-to-digital conversion circuit, D/A digital-to-analog conversion circuit and transmisson network port circuit module. Based on the circuit schematic diagram I complete the design of PCB and weld the circuit board.Thirdly, I make designs for the control logic, including A/D analog-to-digital conversion control logic and D/A digital -to-analog conversion control logic, as well as FPGA and DSP communication control logic. Make sure they meet the design's requirements by simulation experiment. And I have finished the design of reading and writeing SD card procedures and network port communication. That realizes the store and uploading to PC machine of the data collected.Lastly, I have debugged the part of multichannel receiver, in order to meet the requirements of the design, including enlarging itself by times, pass-band, consistency and so on. I have also debugged the collection and storage extension on line, to make sure that DSP can work with SD' card read and write and network port communication,which meets all the requirements of the design. After working for a long time, it is verified to offer the great stability of it.
