| At present, there are two main methods for calculating the structural strength of military vessels: rules calculation method and direct calculation method. Rules calculation method, As an enssential part of the design of military vessels, but ship classification society did not provide software about it for military vessels. Compared to civilian vessels,direct calculation method of military vessels is not very mature,there are no clear rules to guide the direct calculation of military vessels in domestic. Under the premise of structural strength to satisfy,how to reduce the weight of the main hull,,which is structural optimization design problem,researchers are focusing on the issue. In this paper, the assessment of structural strength and optimization design of military vessels are studied,the main contents are as follows:1. Introduce the longitudinal strength analysis process of GJB, and on this basis, the research of structural optimization mathematical model based on rules calculation method on the hull transverse section has been made.2. Referring to the requirements of direct calculation method in civilian vessels’ rules,the author puts forward a kind of direct calculation method which is suitable for military vessels,and on this basis,the research of structural optimization mathematical model based on direct calculation method of the hull has been made.3. By the secondary development of Patran Command Language,developed military vessels longitudinal strength assessment system; with military vessels longitudinal strength assessment system integerated in Isight, the author puts forward a software implementation in structural optimization design of the hull transverse section baesd on rules calculation method;for the direct calculation method, with MSC.Patran/Nastran integerated in Isight, the author puts forward a software implementation in structural optimization design of the hull.4. Choose a military vessel as an example, the author calculated longitudinal strength of the midship transverse section in the vessel by military vessels longitudinal strength assessment system, assessed its ultimate strength and stability of compression stiffeners with plate ,and according to the results, optimized the longitual structure of the midship transverse section by the software implementation proposed by the author. Then the author assessed its ultimate strength and stability of compression stiffeners with plate After that, the author established the FEA model of the whole ship, calculated the strength in direct calculation method,and according to the results,optimized a hold section amid in the vessel by the software implementation proposed by the author. |
