In recent years,with the rapid development of China's railway electrification construction and the rapid increase of the train speed,the EMU gradually replaced the electric locomotive as the main means of transport.In order to ensure the safe operation of the EMU,EMU must be regularly back to the Motor Vehicle Application for maintenance,in the process of maintenance and repair,the EMU must be disconnected with the catenary,and hang a grounding wire.As the traditional EMU overhaul and maintenance trace artificial ways to hang ground operation,which have low efficiency,high labor intensity and many unsafe factors,besides,the catenary hang ground is a key step in the process of EMU overhaul,once the staff forget to hang up the grounding line,or hang the wrong ground,it will cause serious consequences.In this paper,take the automatic grounding device for EMU maintenance as the objectives.In the automatic grounding device working principle,framework and working process of careful research,combined with the actual needs of the current market for automatic grounding device,designed and developed a set of EMU maintenance automatic grounding device.Research and development of EMU maintenance automatic grounding device through the preliminary investigation,determine the research content,work flow and work mode of overall design,making the design and implementation of device,select appropriate components of hardware system,choose the software development platform and the development of PC,and finally the whole equipment debugging process.Firstly,determine the overall research scheme of automatic grounding device for EMU maintenance,according to the Lanzhou Motor Vehicle Application investigation,which including action execution layer,process control layer,remote monitoring layer three layer system,and design the framework of the seven modules which including structure of PC monitoring module,remote monitoring video module,human-computer interaction module,voltage detection module,contact network the mechanical arm actuator,isolation switch detection module,PLC control module,the EMU maintenance automatic grounding device including "online" and "offline" two working modes,and according to each kind of different work mode specific design of the work flow.Then design the hardware system according to the overall detailed scheme,S7-300 PLC is selected as the controller and select other auxiliary components,design the structure of the control cabinet and the connector structure,determine the contact way between contact line and mechanical arm,and take the 3D modeling and analysis to some parts of mechanical arm,select the "Kingview 6.55" as the host machine monitoring software development platform,which is common used in the development of engineering,operation interface design of PC software,the communication parameter settings of PC and lower machine,the upper computer software and the Access database connection,and embed the Hikvision video remote monitoring screen into the PC software according to the design requirements.Finally the EMU maintenance automatic grounding device was debugged,including computer software and slave communication debugging,the robotic arm,switch state monitoring,video remote monitoring module debugging,the debugging results show that the automatic grounding device can improve the current EMU maintenance manual hang ground operation problems.
