Suspension plays an important role in vehicle ride comfort and occupant comfort.It is the most important related system in vehicle running performance and is the key to evaluate vehicle performance.However,due to the imperfection of suspension matching performance test equipment and the costliness of the large vehicle performance testing device,research and development of new suspension matching test bed measurement and control system is necessary.First of all,this paper introduces the existing research on automobile suspension and parts testing equipment and the development of industrial measurement and control system at home and abroad.In this paper,because of the existing suspension performance matching test bed which based on the 1/4 car suspension system model,the overall solution of the measurement and control system is put forward.And based on the kinematic differential equation modeling of the test bed,the main dynamic characteristics such as the adjustment time and overshoot of the test bed are obtained.Secondly,according to the overall solution of the measurement and control system,this paper presents the overall design of the hardware architecture.The program chooses the appropriate data acquisition module,frequency converter,sensor and communication converter,etc.,to design an adjustable signal conditioning module to improve the system's anti-jamming capability;In addition,the power protection circuit and others are designed for improving the safety of test equipment.The software is divided into control,test and data analysis module and the control module controls test bed relying on driving the inverter by communication program;The data analysis module is composed of sub-modules such as bench test data analysis and vehicle road test data analysis.To achieve the specific functions of each module,the flow chart and program basing on VC ++ and MATLAB are drawn.Combining the measurement and control system hardware and the application program develops suspension performance matching test bed measurement and control system.Finally,to verify whether the developed monitoring and control system achieve the desired goal or not,the first step is to debug and calibrate the measurement and control system,and calibrate the force and displacement sensors with static calibration;In addition,the test system is dynamically calibrated with a sinusoidal signal and the system bandwidth is obtained.The second step is to do matching test for a vehicle suspension.Comparing and analyzing the suspension matching test data of using the hydraulic shock absorber suspension system and new pneumatic shock absorber suspension system;The minimum contact force,dynamic deflection,acceleration RMS,amplitude frequency characteristics,phase frequency characteristics and other related characteristics are obtained according to the experimental data.By adjusting the initial pressure and damping aperture of the new pneumatic shock absorber and other parameters match the superior ride comfort.The suspension system which is evaluated by the vehicle road test parameter obtain the practical correction coefficient of the test bed matching.The results show that the measurement and control system is easy to operate,accurate analysis,high reliability,and can achieve the established goals.At the same time,the system has a strong practical significance for the suspension performance matching,improving the efficiency of new product development and reducing product costs.
