Substation DC emergency lighting system can provide lighting in the event of blackouts for workers patrol and accident treatment.The power of traditional emergency lighting system is supplied by battery,but the battery has some problems such as difficulte and complex to maintain,short service life and low power density of defects.Use of high power density,long service life and almost maintenance-free supercapacitor instead for energy storage can reduce the maintenance and the accidents caused by energy storage device failure,improve economy and reliability of substation emergency lighting DC system.Therefore,the research and design of DC emergency lighting system powered by supercapacitor is very necessary.This thesis first research and analysis the substation DC emergency lighting system,and determine the connection mode of DC emergency lighting system,load voltage level and etc.according to the design requirements and lighting needs,.According to the above content,select and calculate the configuration and reasonable capacity voltage and size of supercapacitor.As the voltage of supercapacitor falls fast in use,to meet the requirement of power supply,in this thesis,according to research,we use bi-directional DC-DC conversion circuit which can realize two-way flow of energy to realize the requirement of the power supply circuit voltage output.The discussion compares the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of bidirectional DC-DC topology and application scope,and chooses a suitable topology for this research.By analysis,choose current control methods as the two-way DC-DC topology control strategy and design the circuit parameters combined with the requirements of substation DC emergency lighting system.Then,on the basis of the design circuit structure and parameters of emergency lighting system,build models and simulate in the MATLAB,analysis the results of simulation and see if it can meet the design requirements and the design is reasonable as well.Finally,put up a small power experiment platform,the results validate the correctness of the simulation results,the simulation results also has guidance to the experiment.
