As the economic development grows fast recently,some unexpected accidents happened in drinking water sources increase day by day,which has a series of impacts on people's lives and social economy.From the emergency measures taken to deal with the pollution incidents,such as the chemical leakage and explosion at home and broad,many accidents occurred due to the shallow knowledge of the pollution source and the growing trend of those accidents.It leads to some improper handling methods and misses the best time to solve the problem,which also enlarges the influence of such accidents.Therefore,it is important to study the simulation of the water pollution accidents and to formulate a scientific and reasonable contingency plans.The drinking water source is one of the important drinking water sources in Three Gorges Reservoir Region.It feeds a population of 980,000,providing the production and living water for Da Ping,Yang Jia Ping,Shi Qiao Pu and Zhong Liang Mountain areas,and part of it transporting to Yu Zhong and Sha Ping Ba District.There would be serious potential water supply risks once pollution accidents happened.The paper regards the He Shang Shan drinking water source area on the Jiu Long Po District in Chongqing as its search objects.Based on the field investigation,this paper collects the data of hydrology and water quality in order to get better acquainted with the local natural environment.By employing of the powerful data and displaying of the graphical functions of MATLAB,a simulation study to found out the rules of migration and diffusion when dealing with the pollution group of Cd accident at the drinking water source area,then put forward the emergency measures to tackle with pollution accidents.With certain theoretical and practical values,the paper aims at providing the data base and theoretical foundation for the relevant emergency management personnel and the environmental protection department.The results show main environmental risk sources at the study areas,one is the industrial pollution source,the other is the shipping dock,the third is navigation vessels,the fourth is highway transportation vehicle and the last one is water diversion project.By the study,the total time of water pollution at the water intake is 19.00 min,the warning time is 15.88 min and the total time of water pollution is 34.09 min.The paper comes up with the emergency monitoring procedures and fluently-used methods as well as emergency measures to deal with toxic and harmful pollutants,heavy metals,oil and biological pollution.
