Research On Wireless Temperature Measurement System Of Transformer Substation's Switchgear Equipment

In the process of long-term operation,the contacts,busbars and power cables of the switchgear are heated under the normal load due to aging,poor contact and looseness.If the temperature of these parts can not be effectively carried out,it can cause paralysis of the entire substation operation.How to design a practical temperature detection system for the rapid and accurate detection of the switchgear,has been an important issue for study.In order to effectively and accurately measure the temperature inside the high-voltage switch cabinet,Nanling Power Supply Company has set up a scientific and technological project,named as "substation installation of wireless temperature monitoring system".This paper will combine with the project,to design a set of passive wireless Surface Acoustic Wave(SAW)temperature monitoring system.The system has the following characteristics:(1)The system is based on passive and wireless resonant surface acoustic wave sensor,with the advantages of small space and accurate measurement,and can quickly upload the temperature information to the power monitoring center,greatly reducing the unnecessary staff.(2)The system can achieve a comprehensive test of each joint,to carry out the condition monitoring and maintenance of 10 kV equipments,to provide an important basis of facilitating the staff to read fast in time to make the right measures to reduce the loss of switchgear,and to achieve certain Economic and social benefits.In order to test the validity of the designed system,the system was put into the trial operation of Fengling,Sanli and Dongtai Substation under the Nanling Power Supply Company,and was found that it could detect the temperature inside the high voltage switch cabinet accurately and effectively,send out the warning signal normally,and send the information to the electric power monitoring center accurately.The substation installation of wireless temperature monitoring system has achieved the anticipated function,and also has certain economic benefit and social benefit.
