Based on the growing scale of power system and the situation which are growing more and more complicated,The calculation and analysis for power system have become more and more difficult,the traditional calculation and analysis method are facing serious challenge.As a key part of safe and economic operation for power grid,reactive power optimization is a nonlinear hybrid optimization problem which is extremely difficult in computational complexity.To solve this,we will study from three parts:research the theory and algorithm about reactive power optimization,the reactive power optimization basing on improved particle swarm algorithm,designation and implementation for regional reactive power optimization system.We usually use PSO to calculate reactive power optimization problem.But in order to get the parameter,the standard PSO needs to calculate for many times and its convergence is not good as well.Besides,although PSO is successful and effective in many single objective optimization problems,It can not be applied in multi-objective optimization problem directly because it may converge to the optimal local area which is not the best.In order to avoid this,this paper has done some improvement,through analyzing the theory of PSO and different parameters' influence to particle's search,we can change the parameter settings.Through choosing the optimal solution of the algorithm,we can search in multi-objective optimization problem's Pareto solution.We take IEEE-14 node system as an example,through the simulation calculation,it proves the PSO's feasibility and effectiveness for reactive power optimization problem.When designing the plan of reactive power optinmization system of Hang Zhou,we design land-saving coordination communication interface,county coordination communication interface,Etxt text parsing and generation interface,process of AVC uplink data generation module,land-saving county grid coordinate system model maintenance module and Hang Zhou's local dispatching and its county coordination communication interface to prove the reactive power optimization effect of AVC system.The study found that,through our improved algorithm,the precision of the multi-objective optimization has been raised and the rate of convergence has become faster than ever.Meanwhile,through the example of Hang Zhou,we can prove that AVC's coordination control function can push reactive power optimization.
