Currently represented by water stabilized macadam of semi-rigid base materials in our country,the level of highway asphalt pavement structure in order to widely popularize and apply.But this kind of pavement structure there are many problems in the process of practical application,is among the more prominent water damage and pavement cracking problems,of which the first cracking semi-rigid base and the and finally cause the reflective crack of asphalt layer structure cracking of form is given priority to,and through the inductive analysis present research results at home and abroad,has still not found can completely solve the problem of the control method.Integrated the fruitful research achievements at home and abroad is presented in this paper,on the basis of system analysis of the semi-rigid material as base of asphalt pavement structure is the main damage form,and put forward the research on the basis of the emulsified asphalt-half of the cement stable macadam mixture,the necessity of flexible base materials and the evaluation index system of the flexible base mixture,mainly includes four indicators: the basic mechanical properties of materials;crack resistance;high temperature stability;the water stability..In mixture gradation,this article uses the “k” method control the content of coarse aggregate gradation,and strictly control the particles of 2.36 ~ 4.75 mm,in order to let fine aggregate and the emulsified asphalt-water mud fully fill with skeleton structure coarse aggregate grain formed,forming excellent performance of embedded skeleton dense structure.This paper uses the compressive strength,splitting strength and Marshall stability test to calculate the best mixture of cement and asphalt content,and to determine a set of water content of the standard calculation method.Using a variety of test methods from raw materials,mineral aggregate gradation method,mix proportion design,mixed with different additive of emulsified asphalt-half of the cement stable macadam mixture,flexible base on the system of test analysis,and based on the actual situation of southwest high temperature and rainy area,set up water stable macadam semi-rigid base material as the control group,for how can significantly improve due to early disease at the grass-roots level and the reflection crack problem caused by the damage of asphalt pavement,the system of road base materials is internal microscopic theoretical analysis,mainly includes: mixture strength characteristics;water stability and high temperature stability;crack resistance etc,experimental research and material to maximize under existing sources of material emulsified asphalt-half of the cement stable macadam mixture,the flexible road base material is for use in southwest high temperature and rainy regions.
