With continuous development of reliability theory and actual application in engineering,more and more people realize that optimization design based on reliability become more scientific and reasonable than traditional optimization design.Reliability analysis and optimization design are a key link in the process of mechanical parts reliability activities,which fundamentally determine reliability degree and service life of mechanical parts.Therefore,reliability optimization design research of mechanical parts become one of reliability research field for many scholars.Traditional reliability analysis are based on limit state equation,namely: safety,failure states,safety probability is used as objective function or constraint condition for mechanical parts optimization analysis in reliability optimization model.But it doesn't reflect state of mechanical parts in actual work,especially some complex parts or parts of work under bad working conditions.Therefore,traditional reliability analysis exist shortcomings in solving reliability analysis and optimization design of mechanical parts.In this paper,based on principle that mechanical parts should possess “safety-intermediate-failure” three work modal,theoretical analysis,numerical analysis and computer simulation are adopted to research reliability optimization theory and methods of mechanical parts with intermediate state.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on traditional reliability analysis,this study argues that mechanical parts exist intermediate state between safety and failure state—safety,intermediate,failure three states.Three states corresponding probabilitys are safety probabilityRP,intermediate probabilityMP,failure probabilityFP,which reliability vector is constituted.Basic method of reliability and three algorithms of reliability vector are inferred by using traditional reliability analysis correlation theory.(2)Under condition of considering failure correlation,reliability vector calculation method and steps of mechanical parts are established by using modulus algorithm and introducing correlation factor ?.(3)According to reliability vector analysis with intermediate state,four types reliability optimization mathematical model of mechanical parts based on reliability vectors are set up combined with traditional reliability optimization design model to choose for engineering and technical personnel.(4)Solving algorithms of reliability optimization model established is researched and genetic-nonlinear programming(hybrid genetic)algorithm is used to solve it.(5)By using computer simulation method,gear of mud pump power end with intermediary state is analysised for reliability optimization and compared with traditional reliability analysis.Optimization results show that gear volume is reduced about 2% method proposed in the paper compared with traditional reliability optimization design.
