In recent years, with the rise of people's living standard increasingly, people's requirements on the quality of the products are higher and higher. To all kinds of enterprises, studying and designing good and cheap products has already become important means in the market competition.Based on the domestic and foreign research theory of reliability design and tolerance design, the paper combines the current popular theory of intelligent optimization algorithm, and further studies robust reliability-based optimization design theory. Meanwhile,in order to solve the question of evaluation of robust design, the paper use the software Isight and MATLAB to complete it. The work carried out in this thesis includes four major contents as follows.Firstly, this paper introduces the theory of reliability of conventional design, especially studies how to use the theory of First order second moment method and Monte Carlo method for reliability analysis. Meanwhile, introducing the tolerance design technology, it provides a theoretical source for robust reliability analysis.Secondly, this paper establishes a conventional mathematical model of the reliability-based robust optimization design. Because it is very hard to get ideal robust solutions according to conventional optimization model, this paper brings forward the model of the 6σrobust reliability design. Meanwhile ,the mathematical models of single objective and multi-objective 6σrobust reliability optimization design are established. Then, in the purpose of obtaining the bset solutions of the question and solving the problem of complex nonlinear, multi-constraint, multi-objective characteristics, this paper has separately studied particle swarm optimization algorithm and genetic algorithm with the capability of complicated nonlinear optimization and global search. And the genetic algorithm adopts the real number coding for fusing other algorithms.Finally, the paper evaluates the result of conventional optimization and 6σ robust optimization respectively with the software of Matlab and Isight.According to the analysis of two results, the 6σrobust reliability optimization theory is proved to be an effective design method.
