With the continuous development of weapons systems,in order to test the performance of artillery fuze and access to test parameters,a large number of shell launch tests need to be done.Due to the high cost of shell launch tests and the difficulty of recovering test equipment,there are many obstacles to the design and development of fuze.Therefore,a soft recovery scheme based on parachute is presented in this paper that the test bomb instead of shells for related tests in maintaining the original state of the same fuze;In order to reduce the difficulty of recovering the test bomb,the test bomb and the test device are collected together with recovery device based on the parachute.The main contents of this paper include two parts: the structural design of the test bomb and the design of the recovery device.Under the launch conditions,the design of the test bomb need to meet the requirements of the launch of the overload,the chamber seal,fuze and recovery device installation,parachute release requirements,etc.The parachute is used to design the recovery device to make the velocity of test bomb to rapidly decrease after the launch and to achieve the recovery task of the test bomb in a short distance.Based on the basic requirements of the design of the test bomb,a design scheme of the experimental bomb structure is proposed that the test bomb designed as a snap-fit mechanical structure to facilitate the seal of bomb and the release of parachute;The rotation test and pull test for test bomb is simulated by ADAMS software.Considering the working conditions of the test bomb(such as the initial speed and rotating speed,etc),the scheme of aerodynamic parachute is applied for the motion of different types of parachute model and test bomb by using the fluid-solid coupling analysis function of ANSYS/LS-DYNA software.The simulation results show that,after receiving the release signal,the snap-fit mechanism of the test bomb can realize the function of the recovery device and the separation of the bomb.The comparative simulation results indicate that the velocity of the test bomb has asignificant downward trend in a short time under the condition of using a circular parachute,which can achieve the deceleration effect of the test.
