With the development of shipping industry,the number of small civilian ships grows drastically and collisions happen occasionally.As small vessels did not install AIS device,it is nearly impossible to search and rescue the vessels in time after collisions,which has caused great distress to the ship traffic management in our country.In order to solve the problem of small ship management,rescue after the collision and investigation of accidents,the project conbined AIS and GMDSS with the function of VDR designs a monitoring and rescue system of small tonnage ship based on ARM platform.Firstly,the overall design of the system is determined,which includes shipboard device and mobile terminal device,then setting up hardware platform of the device based on STM32F103 and STM32F407 chips,finally designed circuit schematic and PCB circuit board,and completed the circuit welding and debugging.The system designed in the project includes the core control chip,GPS/Beidou positioning,voice monitoring,data storage,wireless module,power supply and management,flooding alarm,LCD touch display,external flash module and acquisition of ADC signal.Then completed main program and subroutine of the shipboard device and terminal device in the compilation environment of MDK,and achieved the function of real time acquisition of positioning data and voice data for shipborne equipment,loop coverage storage of data,flooding alarm and vessel information sharing within a certain range.The mobile terminal device has also accomplished the funnctio of collecting the positioning data,data storage,allocation of time slots for shipboard device,LCD touch display,battery residual power acquisition and calculation space distance and direction angle.What's more,the system also achieved the TDMA networking,the communication protocol of shipboard device and mobile terminal and the format of data frame transmitted by shipboard device are designed.At the end,the system finished the real test.Main functions such as system networking,data acquisition,wireless transmission,storage and display,touch screen control,flooding alarm and vessel information sharing within a certain range are verified in the case of hardware platforms and software programs working stably.The performance of the whole system is tested and analyzed in terms of packet loss and transmission distance,results show that the design meets the expeted performance requirements.As its advantages of cost-effective,low power consumption and strong expansibility,the design has extensive application prospects in the aspect of small ship management,monitoring and search and rescue.
