At present,the highway entrances and exits in the cities of our country mainly use the entrance artificial issuing cards and export artificial cash settlement method.In this method,the vehicles need to be parked at the entrance of the highway to take the card and stop to pay the fees at the exit,the passage of the vehicles is slow and the efficiency is low.Especially in the weekend and statutory holidays,during this time,the vehicles are very many,the entrances and exits of the highway often happen a large area of traffic jam phenomenon.In order to solve this problem,this paper combines the embedded technology,database technology,C#desktop software development technology,vehicle license plate recognition technology,4G mobile communication technology,Web Service technology and the data encryption technology,and presents a new fast toll collection system for highway.And then achieves the corresponding hardware and software modules.First of all,this paper uses Web Service technology to design the data invocation interface,and design the data calling software based on.NET platform using C#language,which lays the foundation for the vehicles to be the registered users automatically.This system uses ARM7 as the control board,achieves the development of the license plate image acquisition software module and license plate recognition software module,finishes writing license plate number?the inbound and outbound sites of the vehicles,and other information to database;and then designs the client software for the exits,The software identifies the license plate,queries the matched license plate in the database,calculates the fees of the vehicles in the highway;If it is registered user,the system will automatically release,and combines with the 4G module to push the consumption information to the owners,the owners can pay afterwards.If it is a non-registered user,the system charge in cash.And then designs the dedicated transmission software to transfer the inbound and outbound data of the vehicles in the highway and the consumption data into the server,and uses the AES algorithm to encrypt the data.In order to facilitate the staff to monitor the data transmission,and to provide visual interface for the client and the server establishing a network connection,the system designs respectively the data transmission software for the client and the data receiving software for the server.The client extracts the data of the toll station in a fixed format,encrypts and sends the data.the server receives the data,decrypts and automatically stores it in the database of the server of the highway.In order to meet the storage requirement of the database for the relevant data,the data must be extracted and stored in a fixed format.Laboratory tests show that the system designed and completed the hardware and software functions,completed to registered automatically for the vehicles by calling the interface function;achieved a fast access to the registered vehicles,significantly improve the efficiency of the toll station;the data transmission software can safely transfer large amount of data in toll station to the server of the highway.
