Static And Dynamic Elastic-plastic Analysis Of Prestressed High Performance Concrete Frame Structures

Abstract/Summary:
With the vigorous developments of China’s building materials industry which led by continuous developments of economy and technology,high performance concrete is increasingly used in engineering practice,experts and scholars are also committed to the research of high performance concrete and high performance concrete structure.A lot of achievements have been made about the research on the seismic behavior of high performance concrete beams,columns,joints and frames.This paper introduces the general concept and the development of high performance concrete,and emphatically introduces the Fly Ash Aggregate concrete.Based on the finite element analysis software SAP2000,the prestressed concrete frame and the prestressed Fly Ash Aggregate concrete frame are established according to the results of mechanical experiments on Fly Ash Aggregate concrete made by others.The comparative analysis have made on base shear force,top displacement curves,the performance points,inter story displacement angle and the variation laws for the plastic hinge by using pushover analysis method.Thanks to the defects in the theories and basic assumptions of pushover analysis method,and the dynamic time history analysis method is the most accurate method in analyzing the seismic performance of structures.This paper also makes time-history analysis about the Pre-stressed Fly Ash Aggregate concrete frame and ordinary pre-stressed concrete frame,getting comparison results about inter story displacement angle,base shear force and top displacement under EL-Cent wave,Taft wave and artificial wave(Lanzhou wave).The results show that the base shear force of Fly Ash Aggregate concrete frame is less than the ordinary concrete frame under the same circumstances,and the top displacement,inter layer displacement and inter story displacement angle is larger than the ordinary concrete frame.There is a certain regularities of plastic hinge developments about Pre-stressed Fly Ash Aggregate concrete frame and ordinary pre-stressed frame: the plastic hinge first appears in the bottom of the column on the first floor,gradually develops toward the upper parts of the beams and columns.Energy dissipation mechanism of column-beam-column end is formed.Prestressed high performance concrete frame can meet the requirements of seismic fortification of structures under the condition of multiple and rare earthquakes.
