Traditional force-based seismic design method is simple, intuitive and practical, but itneither fully assess the extent of structural damage in the earthquake, nor accurately reflectthe true life story of the structural response, and performance-based seismic design as one ofthe Earthquake Engineering This trend, the current study from the static nonlinear anddynamic nonlinear. Static nonlinear analysis method for its simple and practical advantagesare more and more attention of the engineering staff has been included in our "Seismic Designof Buildings"(GB50011-2010), as a structural elastic-plastic deformation analysis.First, this study systematically expounds the basic theory of Pushover Analysis, Research,applications, advantages and disadvantages exist in the pushover analysis method discussed inmore detail. Secondly, the Pushover analysis accuracy method one of the most critical factorsthat the lateral load distribution in the form of a more in-depth study. Then two commonnonlinear static analysis methods are described, pushover analysis in ETABS software isbased on the capacity spectrum method (Capacity spectrum Method) and the targetdisplacement (Target Displacement Method). And then carried out a detailed introduction tothe specific process, especially pushover analysis techniques, how to extract and seismicperformance assessment of the results of pushover analysis in ETABS pushover analysis. Andthen a brief introduction was done to the time history analysis method, including basicassumptions of the process analysis, vibration model, the selection of the seismic waves andthe restoring force model.And then use two loading modes to do pushover analysis of the structure, considering theimpact of the P-â–³effect on the pushover analysis, to getthe structure of the plastic hingedistribution and the structure of the base shear-top displacement curve, capacity spectrumcurve, overlaying capacity spectrum curve and reduction of the inelastic response spectrum,draw the performance points of the structure to calculate the layer displacement and layerdisplacement angle in the performance point of the structure, and then compare the value ofthe specification, testing whether the structure meet the requirements " no damage in smallearthquake, repairable under moderate earthquake, no collapsing with strong earthquake".Selected EL-CENTRO-wave, Tangshan wave nonlinear time history analysis, obtained the timehist curve in the base shear and vertex displacement curves of the structure in the twoseismic waves of the results obtained compare with the response spectrum analysis andpushover analysis results that to prove a reasonable degree of various loading modes.By the study of the static nonlinear analysis of lower concrete frame structures, thenonlinear behavior of the structure was deeply understood, and this article provided the basisfor the design of structural system, with some reference value and engineering instructive.
