As the rapid growth of automobile production and sales volume,it is becoming more and more important to study the passive safety of automobile,In the vehicle development process,Research on vehicle crash safety is always running through it all the time.In order to ensure the safety of passengers in the collision accident,The major automobile producing countries in the world have developed strict crash safety regulations.Strict standards must be implemented before production and development.This paper analyzes the development of domestic and foreign automobile crash safety regulations,Research status,content,research methods and development trends of vehicle crash simulation,In this paper,the theory of numerical simulation is studied in detail,It includes the finite element control equation,the finite element discretization equation,shell element algorithm,time integration and time step control,hourglass control,contact impact interface algorithm,etc.The paper selects a certain model of passenger car model,The frontal impact test is studied by simulation.First,according to the relevant model,data and frontal collision regulations,The simulation model of vehicle collision is established with HyperMesh,And use software LS-DYNA to calculate the system.Secondly,the energy curves and the response indicators in the collision process are shown,According to the evaluation criteria of vehicle collision,B column acceleration,deformation of the longitudinal beam and the front panel are analyzed and evaluated,So the crash safety of the vehicle is investigated.Finally,the control method of response index is described based on the simulation results,At the same time,The weak links in the front of the automobile energy absorption zone are analyzed,And the acceleration peak curve is smooth,the establishment of the simplified simulation model is correct,This paper has reference value to the design of the car body structure and the analysis of safety performance.
