Bamboo frame structure made of bamboo engineering materials is a new perspective in modern construction field.Modern bamboo structure has good seismic performance,convenient construction,and the advantages of green environmental protection,but because of its small lateral stiffness,under seismic action,the lateral deformation of multi-story bamboo frame was larger and energy dissipation ability is limited,so its seismic performance needs to be improved.To solve problems above mentioned,bamboo frame structure with buckling-restrained knee brace(BRKB)proposed in this dissertation,it can improve the lateral stiffness of the structure,and enhance the hysteretic behavior of structure.The method of combining theory with experiment is adopted,emphasis is given to the following aspects:(1)Basic parameters of bamboo frame with buckling-restrained knee brace are analyzed through SAP2000,mainly includes arrangement position on the beam and column,the initial stiffness and the yield load of buckling-restrained knee brace,and the angle between knee brace and the beam,etc,and the tension,compression and bending test on the material property of recombined bamboo and laminated bamboo in the grain direction is conducted,which could provide foreshadowing for subsequent experimental and theoretical research;(2)Two frame models are made for experimental study,the one frame with buckling-restrained knee brace,the other one is pure frame for contrast,and compare the difference of seismic performance between frame buckling-restrained knee brace and without buckling-restrained knee brace,and compare the test phenomenon of the two frames,and structure seismic performance indicators of the two frames are analyzed,including the hysteresis curves,skeleton curves,strength and stiffness degradation etc,the test results show that the pure frame with buckling-restrained knee brace,the seismic performance is greatly improved;(3)Based on the real bamboo structure project example,the time history analysis of original bamboo frame structure and bamboo frame structure with buckling-restrained knee brace are carried out through commercial finite element software ANSYS,the effects of buckling-restrained knee brace on dynamic response of bamboo frame structure is compared with original bamboo frame.Results showed that the frame with buckling-restrained knee brace,can effectively reduce inter displacement of the bamboo frame structre under frequent earthquake or rare earthquake action,and play a better protective effect on the original structure;(4)A direct displacement-based design method for performance-based Seismic of bamboo frame with buckling-restrained knee brace is put forward.The bearing capacity,the overall stability and local stability parameters of BRKB are analyzed in detail and abstractly.Combining with the characteristics of bamboo frame semi-rigid connections,The elastic lateral stiffness of buckling-restrained knee brace bamboo frame is derived.
