Research On Theatre Interior Design Method Based On BIM Technology

As the cultural exchange space,the theatre interior space not only needs to meet the basic demands of people for spatial function,visual aesthetics and humanistic care etc,but also needs to fit its new mission endowed by times.In recent years,the blossom of cultural broadcast on internet,the high requirements of sensory experiences,the improvement of theatre equipments,the advancement of building assembly level,and the diversification of participating teams have requested theatre interior design to focus on information,precision,intelligence,prefabrication and cooperation.However,the traditional design method can not meet the appeal of times development.How to innovate on the theatre interior design method has become the common challenge faced by contemporary interior designers.Building Information Modeling(BIM for short)technology emerged from 1970 s and has developed till today,it is leading the whole building field to enter the new development era.Changes brought by BIM for building industry are not limited to the innovations of design tools and platforms,and they are more a reform for design method and concept.The design idea of BIM which based on the whole lifecycle has formed a new data chain of building information integration.Therefore,the result of research on theatre interior design method which based on BIM technology can lead theatre to a new mode of information at interior design level and to a new height of intelligence at operation and maintenance level.The research,regarded theatre interior space as its object,is based on BIM technology as means,and adopted available literature,comparative analysis and other research methods,and analyze each theatre interior design system and the traditional design methods.The research,meanwhile,comprehensively dissected the applicability and application points of the BIM technology while applied it to theatre interior design,combining questionnaire investigation with case study.As deepen research on the method,it proposed a theatre interior design method that is based on BIM technology.Combined with practice,the author led and accomplished “Shangqiu Cultural and Art Center” interior design project adopting the method proposed in this research,and verified the result of research.Theatre interior design method based on BIM technology is an innovation on traditional design methods.The method enables designers to accomplish their collaborative work efficiently and precisely,and resolve the various difficulties in the designing process.At the same time,the information generated during the interior design phase can also provide reliable database which support the social sharing of information in the future operation stage of the theatre.It will lay a good foundation to form a new industrialized and integrated lifecycle mode for theatre.The innovation will not only fit the people's needs for information at current stage,but also accord with the development trend of theatre space in the future.
