| With the large scale redevelopment in Beijing,tremendous changes in urban forms have been created and there is much concern of controling urban forms.With a deep study on both practice and academic fields,there are fruitful achievements in urban form research in terms of city landscape and urban renewal,which provide critical theoretical basis for urban construction.The absence of quantitative restraining levels in respect of urban form in Beijing has led to insufficient analysis and research on building height in Beijing.Referring to the existing research on urban form,this thesis focuses on the study on the quantitative relation between building height in core zone and its influential factors.Through collecting and analyzing relevant factors of the impact on building height,posed by core zone,factor data group of urban form regarding core zone in Beijing has been established,which has set an important control parameter for the curb of building height.Additionally the quantitative parameter mode of the control of height in core zones has been concluded by the further assurance of quantitative relationship between urban height control and influential factors,in order to explore measures of how to conduct an effective control of building height during the process of urban formalization.This thesis falls into the following five parts:Chapter I: to elaborate the background,target and meaning of the research on building height control;to define the core zones in Beijing and building height;to outline related studies both domestic and overseas and the practice of building height control;to particularize research method and thesis structure.Chapter II: to expound the evolution in features of urban form and building height in Beijing and point out current problems of building height control.Chapter III: The main factors of building height control of core zone in Beijing are analyzed,which can be summarized as economic,culture,landscape and space.And the four factors are analyzed and summarized laying a theoretical foundation for quantitative control in following content.Chapter IV: to extract representative influential factors on the basis of earlier content and ascertain influential factors and the quantification of each factor.Taking standard simulation city blocks for instance,control of quantitative height of blocks are offered,and meanwhile combines with qualitative study on blocks to entirely adjust building height control.Chapter V: taking Xishiku blocks as an example of the core zone in Beijing as a target,data groups of influential factors are set up and building height within these blocks are under simulated calculations,reaching quantitative value of height control.At the same time,taking area situations into consideration,recommendations over form restraint are presented and key points of construction height control are concluded.The last part of this thesis is to conclude construction height control of the core zone in Beijing,with the expectation to the provision of guidance of urban construction in Beijing core zone so as to forge a harmonious and scenic urban form of core zones and urban landscape. |
