The combat effectiveness evaluation of weapon equipment plays an important role in the design,demonstration and development of weapon equipment system.This paper focuses on the evaluation of operational effectiveness of weapon equipment,as an example,the method of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and the visual simulation evaluation based on combat simulation are used to evaluate the effectiveness of rifle combat.This assessment method in the premise of saving manpower,material and financial resources,can be repeated simulation of operational process of multi combat scenarios,the evaluation process and results visualization,is one of the important means for the evaluation of operational effectiveness of weapon equipment.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Establishing the overall model of equipment operational effectiveness evaluation based on visual simulation technology,and analyzing the effectiveness evaluation method of weapon equipment.The equipment operational effectiveness evaluation methods such as Monte-Carlo,Lanchester equation,index method is analyzed in detail,this paper briefly introduces the content of 3D weapon equipment model and visual simulation model by using computer graphics and visualization technology.(2)Using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP),the combat effectiveness of two different rifles is analyzed in detail,and comparing with the results of visual simulation evaluation.It is proved that it is effective to use the visual simulation technology to evaluate the combat effectiveness of weapon equipment.(3)Preliminarily completing the software of equipment operational effectiveness evaluation based on the visual simulation technology.Taking the operational effectiveness evaluation of the rifle as an example,comprehensively considering the comprehensive evaluation indexes,such as integrated fire,maneuver ability and adaptive ability,the combat effectiveness of a new rifle was evaluated by using M16 rifle as the standard rifle in four different scenarios.The software has been tested and accepted by Chongqing company,proving the effectiveness of the method based on visual simulation technologies effective to evaluate the hit rate of weapon equipment,the ability and adaptability of the soldiers.At the same time,it also shows that the method based on combat simulation technology is feasible.
