The Study Of The Presentation Mode Of Moe Elements In The Design Of Animati On-related Products Abstract

Meng,the Chinese word for Moe,is the natural form which can be perceived by the human psychology in the nature.It is used to describe the complicated feelings with a sense of security,such as being adorable,lovely,comfortable,naive and harmless.The complicated feelings will arise when the human senses a certain visual image or behavior.The psychological response triggered by the natural form can be called Moe.The emotional information transmitted by the natural form can match the animation art quite well,which is the reason why Moe can be applied to the animation widely.After 2003,the term Moe was used to refer to the phenomenon in the Japanese animation.Since 2005,it has become a popular online word.After spreading to China,it was simplified as Meng in Chinese,compared to Moe in English.Due to young people's frequent use and preference for Moe,it has gradually become a widespread subculture phenomenon.The animation has played an important role in promoting the spread of Moe.Under the influence of new media art and the promotion of network culture,Moe elements have been applied widely to many fields,thus leading to various social phenomena such as Moe culture,Moe product and Moe economy.The use of Moe elements in the animation-related products can not only overcome the limitation of the products but also make them more appealing to a wider range of consumers.The booming sale of Moe products has brought new way of thinking and creation for the design of animation-related products.By means of literature review and theoretical analysis,this paper has discussed the origin and development of Moe.The cultural essence of Moe will be also explored from the perspective of society,culture and psychology.Through the comprehensive analysis and case comparison,this paper has also made a summary of the artistic features of the design of animation-related products,including the principle of application,form of design and mode of presentation.Moreover,the commercial route and market condition of Moe products have been analyzed to provide advice and ideas for the future development.
