Part in China rural areas still exist a large number of common brick masonry buildings without seismic design,once destructed in the quake,there will be a great threat to the safety of people's life and property.Along with the development of society and economy,rebar reinforcement is an effective reinforcement method,the method can reduce the impact on housing normal use,but rebar reinforcement effect on the overall performance of the brick masonry structure remains to be further research.This article attempts to compare ordinary brick masonry building' s numerical simulation with the result of model test,on the basis of these,making comprehensive numerical simulation research for rebar reinforced masonry buildings.In this paper,using a university student apartment's renovation project as an example,select the student apartment's corridor side's two dormitory as the prototype,carry out the research content:1.Using the proportion of 1:2 scale established brick masonry building without seismic fortification measures.On testing model of brick masonry under the action of the rarely met earthquake six degrees of pseudo dynamic test,receive the test model of displacement and restoring force response;low reversed cyclic loading experiment was carried out to get the test model of hysteresis curve and stiffness degradation curve,skeleton curve,and researched the model of crack propagation and damage.2.Using ABAQUS software to create numerical model consistents with the size of test model of brick masonry structure,analyzed the action of earthquake time history and low reversed cyclic loading,and analyzed the seismic action and quasi-static simulation results with experimental results,verified the model parameters and the selection of constitutive model.3.Based on ABAQUS model,simulated the model of reinforced by rebar,and the axial compressive ratio was increased by 0.1?0.4 respectively.Different reinforce model of axial compression ratio tested on 7 degrees under severe earthquake time history analysis,received the reinforcement model's displacement and acceleration response to compare;tested on low reversed cyclic loading experiment simulation,obtained the ultimate bearing capacity of the reinforcement model,the ultimate displacement,skeleton curve and stiffness degradation curve.The results show that the brick masonry building reinforced by rebar has better seismic performance under 7 degrees severe earthquake,reinforced model is larger than that of unreinforced houses have obvious improve in ultimate bearing capacity?ductility,and with the increase of axial compression ratio the effect increased,the axial compression ratio of reinforcement increased by 0.2?0.3 the effect is most obvious,more than 0.4 with the axial compression ratio the effect is not obvious.
