With the rapid development of the automobile industry,truck is more and more closely linked with people’s production and life,and has an irreplaceable role in the transportation industry.But there are still some deficiencies in the design of the cockpit,which seriously affected the overall comfort of automobile,this conflicts with people’s pursuit of convenience,comfort and security design values.A good ergonomic design of cockpit can not only improve the driving efficiency,but also reduce fatigue and injury risks of the driver.So the ergonomics evaluation for control device of truck cockpit are studied in this paper,and the mainly contains as follows:Firstly,the research status at home and abroad about the ergonomic evaluation of cockpit are introduced and analyzed in this study.On this foundation,the ergonomics evaluation for control device of truck cockpit are made according to the subjective feelings and driving experiences of the subjects,based on the method of subjective evaluation.Then,to design out a cab model as the main test platform,and invite 70 professional truck drivers with rich driving experience as the evaluation subjects.Thus,the ergonomics evaluation for control device of truck cockpit about the man-machine geometry compatibility,operating force and layout design are made,and the test results about the comfortable dimensions and angles,the suitable operating force and the reasonable location layout of related control device are obtained.Finally,this study conducted analysis of the rest results,and the recommended range about the comfortable dimensions and angles,the suitable operating force and the reasonable location layout of related control device,can be given based on the statistical results of the experimental data.The ergonomic evaluation about the control device of truck cockpit is studied in this paper.Since the research results can provide a reference for the design of truck cockpit,this study has an important significance.
