Research On Power Quality Monitoring And IEC61850 Communication Protocol

Power quality monitoring system can realize the unified monitoring and comprehensive analysis for monitoring points in the system.The theory and implementation of powerquality monitoring system is a hot research topic in the world.Power quality monitoring system is based on the com munication network,so the selecti on of communication network is ver y important to the compatibility and stability of power quality monitoring system.IEC61850 is a power occupation standard,and has been used in the field of substation.The realization of power quality monitoring system based on IEC61850 is an inevitable trend.According to the power system is still running a large numbe r of non IEC61850 po wer quality monitoring devices a,this paper studies the non IEC61850 protocol to IEC61850 protocol mapping.Firstly,this paper di d a lo t of wo rk for IEC 61850 in many aspects,such as the architecture,information model and data exchange mode,and analyzed deeply in the data frame format and communi cation process of MODBUS prot ocol.Then,based on the demand of the power quality monitoring system,combined with MODBUS and IEC61850 protocol,the power qualit y monitoring system is m odeled,and th e mapping scheme is established.Thirdly,using the C# progr amming language,compile the MODBUS cl ass libraries,the I EC61850 information model class li braries and database operation class libraries.Based on this class libraries,realized the mapping of MODBUS which is based on TCP/IP and IEC61850 protocol.On the one hand,the data collected according to the MODBUS protocol are stored according to the IEC61850 information model.On the other hand,the IEC61850 command of the client is converted into the form of the MODBUS protocol,the monitoring and control of the monitoring points are completed.Fina lly,according to the demand of power qualit y monitoring sy stem,the MDI multi interface system is established,which can display the data of power quality monitoring points and user operation.In this paper,the power quality monitoring system can read and write data according to the mode specified by IEC61850.A mapping scheme of MODBUS protocol and IEC61850 protocol is proposed by using intermediate process(PC).The standard interface form of IEC61850 is given,which can improve the software,so that it can realize all the attributes of IEC61850 logical node.And according to the need to refer t o the encoder,decoder,realize the integration of IEC61850 system.
