The demand for the inspection of railway system has been increasing with the rapid development of high-speed railway in China.As the most basic part of railway traffic,rails must be effectively inspected to ensure the safety of railway traffic and provide a stable environment for the train.For high-speed rails,the driving conditions become more stringent and the surface accuracy requires higher with the increased speed of the train,thus the inspection task becomes more arduous.The traditional rail inspecting method is measuring the wear value by manually mainly.For the inefficient and inaccurate measurement,the measurement data is not easy to save and analyze,the traditional way is difficult to meet the inspection task.Exploring more advanced high speed rail inspection methods has important practical significance.In this paper,by analyzing the traditional inspecting method and high-speed rail inspection demand,combined with photogrammetry,we combined with photogrammetry to propose a high-speed rail inspection system based on binocular stereo structured light.The inspection system mainly includes point cloud acquisition module and point cloud processing and analyzing module:by exploring the binocular stereo principle and the structural light phase resolution method,we successful integrated the structural light scanner control function in the system to achieve capturing high-speed rails’ point cloud;by exploring the 3d point cloud data processing algorithm and PCL point cloud library,we designed the process for processing and wear analysis of the high-speed rail point cloud model,which intuitively and accurately measures the wear value and automatically generates test reports.After basic framework of the inspection system was build,combined with geometric characteristics of the high-speed rail and some algorithm of PCL,we proposed a complex registration based on distance encoder and PFH acceleration algorithm based on OpenCL heterogeneous computing,which improve efficiency of the inspection system.
