Concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge has been developed quickly in China for its light weight,great strength,easy construction and strong deformation resistance since 1990 when Wang Cang Dong River Bridge,first domestic CFST arch bridge,been built in Sichuan.In this article,the author chooses Long Men Yellow River Bridge as the engineering background,establishes a space finite element model by Finite element analysis software Midas/Civil to analyze its static,self-vibration and stability characteristics,and then by the change of structural design parameter,analyze the railway basket-type CFST arch bridge design parameter and structural sensitivity.(1)the article describes the history and current situation of CFST arch bridge in and abroad,and introduces its classification method,structural characteristics construction method.(2)the article establishes a full-bridge space infinite element model by finite element analysis software Midas/Civil and analyzes the internal force,stress and deflection of Long Men Yellow River Bridge under combined loads;studies the influence of rise-span ratio,arch axis coefficient and leaning angle on structural internal force,stress and deformation.(3)the article briefly introduces the analytical method of self-vibration characteristics.The author calculates the self-vibration characteristics of Long Men Yellow Bridge under combined loads based on the infinite element model,so to determine the self-vibration frequency and vibration mode.And then establish multiple calculation models by the change of structural rise-span ratio,leaning angle,lateral brace type and layout,and discuss the influence of parameter change on structural dynamic characteristics by comparative study.(4)the article studies the elastic spatial stability of Long Men Yellow River Bridge though the establish of infinite element model,analyzes the bridge stability under different load cases by comparison.Furthermore,it constructs different infinite models through the change of elements like main arch rise-span ratio,leaning angle,lateral brace type,layout and main arch rigidity,so to calculate the influence of such elements change on large-span CFST arch bridge.
