Along with the increasing of the span, People pay more and more attention to the dynamic behavior of the concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) arch bridge. Based on the Bin Wang Bridge, stability and dynamic behavior of CFST arch bridge are proceeded. The main work is summarized as follow:1. Based on the theory of stability, this dissertation introduces the capability and model of the mechanics, such as the ratio of height to span, the arch rib cross-section, the intensity of concrete and the offset of Arch axis. These factors are discussed in order to analysis the influence to the stability of arch. This dissertation suggests in projects reasonable parameters can be chosed to improve the stability of the bridge.2. Taking the example of Bin Wang arch bridge, we established3-D finite element model of it with software, and analyzed its natural vibration. Taking into account the major parameters of arch bridge (section stiffness, the ratio between width and span), the effects of these parameters on natural vibration characteristic was studied. Experimentally measured data were analyzed3. During the transient dynamic analysis of CFST arch bridge, we analyzed time history responses of the structure moving loads with different spacing and speed. Impact load are also analyzed. Then the riding comfort is also evaluated when the vehicles is running.
