Cities Along The River Development Model

The city is the place of human settlements,rivers is the origin of urban development.Human survival depends on the water,many cities are built along the river,such as London and the River Thames,Vienna and the Danube,Egypt and the Nile.Since the 20 th century,thriving riverside city gradually shift from recession,generally faced with environmental pollution and economic recession,the need for the river through the transformation and renewal of the urban glow new vitality.Haihe river pollution,poor cross-strait transportation,street congestion,dilapidated buildings along the river in urgent need of reform.Tianjin city due to social transformation and adjustment of industrial structure,through the transformation of the Haihe River coastal infrastructure,improve the environment to enhance the value of the land,to attract investment,increase employment opportunities,to the Haihe River and inject new vigor and vitality.Beginning in 2002,the implementation of a comprehensive transformation of Tianjin development plan along the Haihe River,the Haihe River and Haihe River along the coast of the land,landscape,road traffic planning and construction of a large scale,great changes have occurred in the Haihe River spatial relationships.Based on the model of development outside major cities along the river research,analysis,Tianjin city center Tianjin Steel Liulin,for example,the transformation of the river area hoping to find some ways to transform and update.Through a comparative analysis on the development of domestic and foreign cities along the river,with urban planning,architectural design,landscape design and ecological environment,and other related theories,the middle reaches of the Haihe River in Tianjin Steel Case from Willows city center plan features,function zoning,spatial structure road network structure,along the river landscape,ecological environment and other aspects were analyzed and theoretical thinking,and made the river space optimization strategy.
