Research On Comprehensive Traffic Issues In New Town Construction

As China's urbanization level has entered a critical period,the traffic problems in large and medium-sized cities have become increasingly prominent,during the construction of new city,planning isn't consistent with the expectation or promotion doesn't go promptly,these phenomenon could emerge.Constructing new city as an important means of solving city's development dilemma,curing "urban diseases",we need to co-ordinate to solve all kinds of issues of city,need multidisciplinary collaboration,define reasonably a series of issues in the city's development goal,city scale,land use structure and traffic organization.In the construction of new towns,we should pay attention to the comprehensive traffic issues from the initial stage of planning,by combining urban planning with integrated transportation planning to decide the reasonable planning,development goals and scale of new cities.This paper starts with summarizing classical theories of new city abroad and combing the types and characteristics of the domestic new city construction,further combs research trend and experience of domestic and foreign comprehensive planning of transportation system and traffic organization in the core area.The main body of thesis is based on the balance strategy of traffic demand and supply,from the comprehensive exterior traffic,meso interior road network,macro key areas three aspects to study comprehensive transportation issue during construction of new city,further studies and analyzes three parts,namely,new city's external form and content,accordance between comprehensive transportation planning and city planning and city design and traffic organization of key regional integration,taking the Xidong new town as an example to by traffic flow to forecast and check reasonable city scale,road grade proportion to adapt character of city,three-dimensional solution to traffic contradiction in core area these three attempts was described.The research result of the paper is in the form of case analysis,its forms specific measures and countermeasures which are applied into practice,proposes systematic solution,forms check method of city's traffic supply and demand balance,constructs the strategy framework of city's traffic supply and demand balance,combines theoretical research and practical summary.Through the research of this paper,we hope to reduce the phenomenon of planning mismatch and single solution to comprehensive issues in constructing new city,so construction of new city could be more scientific.
