Chemical chain combustion is a technology that separates CO2 from combustion,which can effectively capture CO2.As oxygen carrier,ilmenite reacts with CO/H2/H2 O in chemical looping combustion cycle on fixed bed reaction,ilmenite were mixed with straw ash and high sodium ash which react in combustion experiments to get the performance affecting factors.Through the analysis of the experimental results,it is concluded that the optimum temperature of the experiment is 950℃,the optimal particle size is 100-300μm.In this experiment,the phenomenon of carbon deposition resulted of the CO.The results of simulation in MATLAB show that the conversion rate of CO is 52% while H2 is 64%,the results with experiment and simulation are basically consistent.Ilmenite adding 10% straw ash and 10% sodium high ash after reaction,whose adds high ash sodium is the most serious.Al and Mg were detected on the surface of the titanium iron ore with 10% straw ash,and Si,Al,Ca and Na were detected on the surface of the titanium iron ore added 10% high sodium fly ash.The K3FeO2,Fe2.95Si0.05O4,Fe2SiO4 are formed which show that Si and K reacted leading to crystal compounds.Ilmenite added 10% sodium high ash in redox reaction was detected with Na3FeO2.At the same time,the iron silicate type eutectic compound is detected.
