Reconstruction Design Of Spatial Adaptability Of Traditional House

Traditional houses-an important reflection of the traditional urban style,they represent the spatial form of local old buildings.They also reflect the traditional life pattern of local people,and they carry the local historical memory.In the past few decades,with the rapid pace of urbanization,the traditional houses have suffered the violent impact of modernization,being pushed down and demolished on a large number.At this stage,the rugged development style of large-scale construction has passed,with the update of new technology,the future will be based on the stock update the new normal;on the other hand,traditional architectural culture with local characteristics is attracting more and more people's attention,from the national policy,down to individual individuals,are increasingly concerned about how to explore the local characteristics of tradition,avoiding "thousands of city side" type of cultural convergence,but also to make the old building to meet the needs of modern function.Old city,the traditional residential is an important material carrier to achieve this beautiful vision.The graduation design is the Reconstruction of a traditional house named Pan Zhai,which located in the main old city zone of Suzhou.The site at NO.17 in the NanShizi street of Pingjiang District in Suzhou.It's less 100 meters distant from the Pingjiang pedestrian street,meanwhile it owns an Attainable distance from Guanqian Street,it shares a big passenger flows.By reconstructing the old house into Bed and Breakfast house,we hope that the old house can operate in modern way,stimulating new vitality of an old house.During this design process,the main work includes the following four parts:1 Preliminary data research.Based on measuring and mapping,we can clear the original Building system,and this is the basis of the next work;2 Project positioning and Space Planning.The second part is to choose a reasonable operation for the house based on the premise of accurate data,and then establishing correct spatial form for reconstruction.3 Research of adaptability of the space.In this design,the emphasis is on seeking the spatial and environmental adaptability of the old house,on the basis of placing modern function,exploring new ideas about reconstruction of old houses.4 Exploration of applicable technology.The last work is to research appropriate technology on the premise that the old house can meet the modern function.The main steps in this design and research process are as follows:1 preliminary study of this project,consultation and classification of material related to the topic.2 The stage of program,comparison of kinds of programs,and then deepening programs.3 research about the possibility of realization.There is a close interaction between the steps each other.
