Control And Applications Of Urban Spatial Morphology In Regulatory Planning

Regulatory planning(hereinafter referred to as the control rules)which occupies the important position in the urban planning system of our country plays the key role of connecting link.It is good at "quantity control " and guides the development and construction of the city.But under the background of inventory planning,in order to optimize the space layout and to improve the quality of the city,the regulatory planning's control action of the urban size and space environment is not satisfactory.T echnical limitation for regulatory planning and neglect of urban design ideas and technical method are the important cause.However the urban design is the effective means of shaping urban space form,which can make up the inadequate of regulatory planning in the "quality " control.But the urban design has an awkward position in regulatory planning,which can't effectively play a role and lack s of specific control methods of urban space form.T herefore,in order to shape the pleasant and comfortable and beautiful urban space form,it is a valuable question how to make up the defects of technology of regulatory planning through the urban design technical methods and to explore the control method s of urban space form are su bject worth studying.This thesis is devoted to shaping good urban spatial morphology at the stage of regulatory planning.This paper begins with some concept s of the regulatory planning,urban design,urban spatial morphology and correlation theory in order to understand the relationship between regulatory planning and urban design,which lays a theoretical foundation to the following research.On this basis,the paper in-depth analyses the problems existing in the urban space form and puts forward the control objectives,principles and basis of urban spatial morphology from the angle of urban design.And then the thesis is devoted to clarifying the control elements of urban space form and constructing control system of urban Spatial Morphology by means of implementing the ideas of urban design and using the urban design methods,analytic hierarchy process(ahp)and GIS methods of digital technology,etc.The method of control system is that we select different control elements from three aspects: macro meso micro to control the urban space form with mandatory and instructive controls according to different research areas.This article has been clear about the research level of control system of urban space form.The control system of u rban space form can be divided into macro,meso and micro three levels.And the article selects and analyses the control elements of each level.Macro level of control elements mainly include the whole city spatial form pattern,environmental capacity and traffic organization.Meso level of control elements includ e urban public space form and building group space environment.Micro level of control elements mainly include the architectural form and environmental furniture.At the same time,this article proposes the control method of macro,meso and micro control elements through analyzing and summarizing three levels of the control elements of urban space morphology.In the case study,we select the central area of a county town which is An State County of Mianyang.On the basis of analyzing the status quo,using the new control system of urban space morphology and the analysis of the control effect verify the feasibility of this system.
