The steering stability of the vehicle is an important factor in driving safety.it is one of the important performance of the vehicle.It can effectively reduce the possibility of accidents by improving the steering stability of the vehicle.The vehicle steering stability test is an important method to evaluate and improve the vehicle's steering stability.This paper designs a model vehicle stability test system based on ARM Cortex-M4 processer.Control the operation of the model vehicle through the test system controller module,and the open loop automatic control mode stability test is carried out.The use of model vehicle instead of real vehicles can effectively reduce the demand for test sites and improve the safety of the test.Using the controller to control the model vehicle can effectively reduce the driver's operating error,so that the tests have high accuracy and repeatability.The main contents are as follows:Design the hardware part of the test system.According to the principle of test system selection select the test model vehicle,embedded micro controller,test system controller basic module,data acquisition system.Design display module,wireless communication module,key module,signal switching module.To achieve the basic functions of each basic module,design test system controller display module,wireless communication module,key module,signal switching module,motor and stepper motor module initialization program and the basic function of the module function based on MK60DN512 control chip.Design the basic structure of the controller module.Design model vehicle stability test plans.Design control program of open-loop automatic control mode according to the experimental plans and the functional function of each basic module.Do the open-loop automatic control mode model vehicle stability tests by the test system and analysis the stability of the model vehicle under the input of each parameter to verify whether the experimental system meets the requirements of system design.
