Study On The Reform Of Aging Community Based On Urban Agriculture

At present,China is in the stage of rapid development of aging.Facing the conditions of aging before getting rich and characteristics of traditional residential culture,elderly home care is still the chief pension mode for the elderly in China.As the most principal space for them,Community undertake the functions of social interactions,entertainment,sports and many other activities.However,in the current process of community construction,designers lack the consideration of the spatial interaction,spiritual comfort and other aspects,so that the quality of the old age life is difficult to be guaranteed.In order to find an ecologically sustainable way to update the aging community which is more suitable for the development of physical and mental health of the elderly,this paper attempts to explore the intrinsic relationship between physiological and psychological needs of the elderly and the multifunction of Agriculture.Then introducing agricultural elements in the updating of the aging community,and using of the multiple benefits of urban agriculture in ecology,life,production and other aspects.At the same time,combined with the physiological,psychological needs and behavioral characteristics of the elderly,this paper try to create a suitable space for them with agriculture in the aging community.The full text can be divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction part,mainly elaborated the research background,research status and developing trends in China and other countries,research content and purpose,as well as research framework and methods.The second chapter,mainly by means of the investigation to the aging communities,discovering community’s existing problems.The third chapter relates to the aging community level that integrated urban agriculture design research,agricultural space for community construction,operation mode as well as management.And then put forward the corresponding strategies and reform suggestions.The fourth chapter,demonstrating the feasibility of the renewal strategy through the research design.Under the background of aging and rapid urbanization,this study tries to explore the development model of the new ecological aging community which integrate to solve the problem of old-age pension,economic and environmental issues.It could provide theoretical reference and practical guidance value for the renewal and construction of the aging community in China.
