“People-oriented” is the design concept of modern industrial design,to meet the needs of people,human services is the fundamental purpose of modern industrial design.Clear consumer demand is the beginning of the entire product development process.The vast majority of enterprise product development process of the first step is also through user research to tap the needs of users and then clear consumer demand.The development of the globalization process makes the technical differences between enterprises smaller,which leads enterprises to the core of competition on the needs of consumers who,but in a highly competitive market environment,the water business and iron users,A company dig out the consumption Demand and B companies to tap the consumer demand is not much difference,not to mention the world there are C companies,D company...the face of this situation,a single by encouraging the creative thinking of designers to play in the product details and quality Uncompromising attention,and can not be better out of this predicament.This article challenges the concept of "new demand".On the basis of the traditional user research process,the basic theory of demand research and scenario hypothesis analysis contrast to try to look at the user’s needs from a new perspective;to establish the demand for pain point relationship analysis of the new requirements of the connotation;and then the concept of new demand into consumer demand,Through product case analysis deconstruction to stimulate the new demand-oriented product design direction;the final reverse induction to stimulate the new demand-oriented product design-oriented new method.This article hopes to explore how product design is a new approach through new concepts.From the point of view of user research,the concept of new demand to complement the current research with the theoretical gaps,from a new perspective tounderstand the needs of the target user.In the process of product design,especially in the process of new product development,the new demand theory design method can enrich the application of creative thinking in product design.
