Corridors-in-the-sky is a concrete implementation of Next Generation Airport Transportation System and become an important technical support of flexible use of airspace in European.It is a kind of new brand for the routes design in airspace development.Corridors-in-the-sky designed to accommodate high-density traffic by grouping flights with similar traffic trajectories.Compared with the traditional routes of airspace structure,it can greatly increase the capacity of airspace.Especially in the face of continuing air traffic growth,structure of routes remained relatively fixed,so dynamic factors needed take into consideration in the airspace configuration.On basis of this,the concept of corridors-in-the-sky developed,which can increase the national airspace capacity and reduce delays.The dynamical,flexible and visual of corridors-in-the-sky can better support the utilization of airspace and the time alternative mechanism researches.The article has four parts:The first part: the introduction.The research background and significance of this paper presented firstly.Then the current airspace resources development and utilization are facing a change of the background is illustrated.Information and communication technologies is the key to improve the utilization of airspace.The airspace resources development and utilization is also the new hotspot in the research of the geography.This paper will rely on the literature research,comparative method and interdisciplinary analysis,studying and analyzing the dynamic corridors-in-the-sky.From the perspective of theory,methodology and application of three aspects,corridors-in-the-sky built based on analyzing the foreign research progress of the airspace development and utilization of theoretical basis,namely the New Generation Air Transport System,Flexible use of airspace in sectors and balance workload.Development and utilization of airspace are pointed out which rely on experience and configure in the past,and the necessity of building dynamic corridors-in-the-sky.On this basis,we get the thought of research.The second part: dynamic characteristics of the corridors-in-the-sky.The corridors-in-the-sky design concept and methods comprehensively analyzed,including the basic attributes of the air corridor,spatial-temporal dynamics,the influence factors of corridors-in-the-sky construction,integration of time and space,the air corridor construction method,the map of time and space,the building technology method of corridors-in-the-sky automatically.We analyze the advantages of flexibility and utilization.The flexibility factor includes the numbers of aircraft and airline change numbers,and utilization factor includes workload and safety.Moreover,the usability design methods of previous corridors-in-the-sky are summarized.The third part: the applied research of corridors-in-the-sky.Dynamic applications of corridors-in-the-sky in the two countries are analyzed respectively.First,application of dynamic corridors-in-the-sky in the United States based on the air traffic flow to choice and then the operation analysis of corridors-in-the-sky is summarized,pointing out its utilization in spatial and temporal aspects,and revealing air traffic flow and the potential advantages of workload in sectors.Second,the application of dynamic corridors-in-the-sky in China mainly based on the flow rate and delay data,which carried on the dynamically selective of corridors-in-the-sky.The number in the air corridor network system in two countries.The time alternative mechanism include spatial structure,the application of alternative space based on basic principle and its implementation way.The fourth part: summarized the research achievements of this paper and the insufficiency.It first proposed the building of dynamic corridors-in-the-sky method based on airspace flow rate and delay rate,which will make the dynamic configuration of airspace.
