Along with gradually economical development and higher living standard,large-span spatial structures have been used in many engineering projects.The structures possesses many equitable advantages such as stress distribution,large spanning,good rigidity,small deformation,better stability and material saving,etc.Moreover,it has the flexibility in architectural design and aesthetic structures.Based on the extreme snow load,the research of single-layer cylindrical latticed shell has been performed.Firstly,ANSYS APDL is generated in structural modeling and equivalent nodal masses approach is used for applying the nodal loads.Next,the models are imported into ABAQUS finite element analysis software to analyze.Dynamic Implicit Analysis is performed to calculate the structural reaction of preand post-failure mode and the sensitivity index of every component.Furthermore,to realize the compressive and tensile yielding,the ABAQUS subroutine is also incorporated to adjust the constitutive relation of each rod,to better simulate the failure of the rods.This paper mainly covers the followings:With different load distribution,boundary condition,the failure mode of single-layer cylindrical shell is studied,and the sensitivity index is produced based on the bearing capacity of the rods.the sensitive component and key components are found.By strengthening the key component,the anti-progressive collapse capacity of its structures is optimized.Both the initial imperfection and the compressive yielding strength are considered,increased by 33-53% and 4-11% respectively.As so,both effects should not be ignored.Parametric analysis of single-layer cylindrical shell over progressive collapse performance is comprehensively studied with different height ratio,span ratio,boundary condition and three kinds of spatial grids(union square grid,one-way orthographic grid,three-direction grid).Last,Tianjin Train Station is used for confirmation.The sensitivity of rods and nodes is analyzed to figure out the distribution pattern of the sensitivity index and its progressive collapse performance.
