With the speeding up of urbanization construction in our country,flood disaster and deterioration of water environment problems such as increased,too.In order to better cope with the problems,the need to build a large number of large pump stations.is urgent.Outlet conduit is an important part of the low-head pumping station so it's harmful for the pumping station's safety and reliability with bad flow pattern of conduit.Manner of water current cut off for the siphon outlet conduit is very simple and reliable based on siphon principle.Undesirable phenomenon as the vibration phenomenon will be caused by improper design size because engineering investment of the siphon outlet conduit with its complex geometrical shape is huge.Many large low-head pumping stations in our country mostly adopt the siphon outlet.So study on the hydraulic performance of the siphon outlet conduit has theoretical and practical value.It takes you plenty of time to draw the line diagram in a program design.If we can design an interface,in which users only need to input the basic parameters of the outlet conduit,and the system will map automatically,users can save a lot of time and improve work efficiency greatly.Therefore,to design a parametric two-dimensional graphics software has some practical value.This paper focus on the siphon outlet conduit,and the research content is divided into two parts.The first part is to study the hydraulic optimization design of the outlet conduit,and the second part is to design a parametric two-dimensional graphics software.Based on a numerical simulation adopting Navier-Stokes equations and the standard k-? turbulence model,the hydraulic optimization design of the siphon outlet conduit was studied,by investigating the influence of geometric parameters of the siphon conduit on hydraulic performance,including the rising angle,the hump cross section height,the descent stage angle,the export section width.The results show that among all these parameters,the head loss appears after the first decreases gradually increase trend with the increase of the rising Angle.The hump cross section height has the great influence on the properties of hydraulic.Along with the rising of the hump cross section height,head loss appears after the first decreases gradually increase trend.We think the hump cross section height should equal to 0.88D0 approximately because of engineering construction investment.In addition to have an effect on hydraulic performance,the descent stage angle also has large influence on engineering construction investment.The larger the descent stage angle,the more head loss.The too large export section width will cause the head loss increased significantly.When the export section width is larger than 2.31D0,there is no obvious influence on the head loss.According to the design method of the flow line of siphon outlet conduit,a parametric two-dimensional graphics software was designed by programming for the rising stage,hump cross section,the descent stage and the export section of the siphon outlet conduit.In the graphics software,the process of drawing cross sectional view and vertical view of the siphon outlet conduit was programmed by using AutoCAD drawing software and Visual Basic language as the drawing platform and its interface.Hence,two-dimensional graphics of the siphon outlet conduit can be easily drawn in the software.Based on Visual Basic language and Matlab language mixed programming and multiple regression model,we got the fitted equation and residual plot to study the functional relationship of siphon outlet conduit's geometric parameters and head loss.
