People's living environment and concepts are changing along with the advancement of society.The relief of city life stress and yearning towards peaceful and easeful rural tourism has become a fashion for people.Their idea on catering of rural tourism is also in constant change,from simply having farm food to focusing health and the art of living.People are in pursuit of delicious food made of natural ingredients free from pollution for the reason that damage of food chain caused by modern life environment and other human factors have already impacted people's health.The development of rural tourism catering in abroad is relatively fast,which mainly focuses on the construction of projects in agriculture in ranches,pastures and manors for tourists' entertainment.The domestic rural tourism catering starts with rural tourism and is at an initial phase.Its merits are that it is green and sunrise industry which could increase additional value of agriculture and farmers' income.Its demerits are that it has inadequate sanitation and no characteristic,and people do not have much recognition and in-depth study on it.Through analyzing the pros and cons of rural tourism catering at home and abroad,this thesis presents a case study of Horinger rural tourism dining space design and conducts a research on the nutritive value structure formed by green,non-polluted and pristine processing method of its food material with local dietary therapy characteristics as entry point.It centers on providing basis for space design of featured rural tourism dietary therapy catering.It combines dietary therapy,local customs and practices with dining space through scene reconstruction after explaining catering style of dietary therapy from green food,green cooking and cultural characteristics and analyzing the required spatial function and forms.It also implants modern life mode,representing the distinctive culture of dietary therapy in dinning space to extract the dietary therapy features of Horinger rural tourism dinning space,and offering reference to the dining space design of rural tourism.Then the importance of dietary therapy dinning space is highlighted through actual dining space design case.
