Urban rail transit is characterized by high speed and high density,the application of Fully Automated Operation(FAO)technology in urban rail transit can enhance transport capacity,improve safety performance,reduce energy consumption.FAO system is one of the main development directions of urban rail transit recognized internationally.Yan Fang line is the first FAO(UTO grade)line in Beijing,and is also the first national unmanned driving line in Mainland China.This article,relying on the "Demonstration application of Fully Automated Operation in Yan Fang line" project,concentrates on the safety analysis and the train movement simulation study on FAO.First of all,this paper summarizes the research status of FAO at home and abroad.Secondly,this paper introduces the definition,composition and advantages of FAO.Then,combined with the actual situation of the project,two major categories are defined according to functional requirements:operation safety and train operation.The two types of requirements are studied separately:First,operational safety analysis.(1)Describe the operation scenes of the system.Operation scene is an effective tool to describe the operation process and analyze the system requirements.It is the source of follow-up safety analysis and driving simulation.According to Yan Fang line,41 FAO operation scenes are designed.(2)After collecting and analyzing the malfunction data of both automatic driving and manual driving lines,based on the analysis results,the risk sources of the FAO system are also identified according to the operation scenes and operational experience.(3)For the system-specific or typical risk sources,the article analyzes the reasons to risk,fault consequences and treatment measures.Operational safety evaluation index system is established according to safety,reliability,passenger satisfaction from the view of safe operation.The indexes are evaluated by the application of AHP.Second,train running simulation.The simulation model is set up using OpenTrack,a professional train running simulation software,according to the actual situation of the Yan Fang line structures.The simulation parameters are set based on the actual data of Yan Fang line as well.The simulation comprise:(1)running time and speed simulation,(2)minimum tracking interval analysis,(3)reentry process simulation,(4)out and in process of the garage simulation,(5)operation diagram verification,(6)operate malfunction simulation.The simulation verified the operation scale and mode of Yan Fang line,simulated the normal and abnormal operation situations and calculated key links such as:automatic reentry,automatic out and in process of the garage.In this paper,the results of the system security analysis,having the possibility of predicting the type of failures,can be targeted to protect the system,and guide the emergency rescue measures after the malfunction.By simulation,the article reflects the characteristics and advantages of the FAO and shows that the Yan Fang line can get the operational requirements of the prospective year.
